Like I told the salesman when I bought my Dyna new, I'd had my Sportster for 11 years. That's the longest I'd ever kept the same woman, so I was gonna keep her. lol
Now I've added a Softail. No reason to get rid of any. I got the room. Better discount on insurance, plus I'm not giving the Sporty away.
I had an 04 super glide for a while, then needed money for a house so i sold it and bought an 08 sportster roadster. I tore it down and bobbed it out and then eventually sold it because I never really road it. About a month ago I got the itch to ride and my gf complained she couldn't ride with me so I bought my street bob(sig pic). This whole time I kept my 69 sportster because my dad and I built it right before I left for MC boot camp. The real reason I guess is because it will always remind me of the fun we had building it. It has an old school feel and look, it still has the magneto and even the left side shift.... wow what a blast to ride. lol

Had a 07 1200c that is making 80 hp and 70 ftl bs torque. Went to the dealer and a 2015 Low Rider was calling. Kept the Sporty too. Was riding the L/R a lot then I took out the sporty!! Fell in love all over again. The power, handling, and sheer fun of riding came back in spades!! Now the L/R is for me and the boss on a weekend ride and the Sportster for everything else!
Jack
I have a 1995 sportster and an 04 superglide. The sportster is a lot faster and better handling and just more fun to ride. The superglide is for long trips and shitty weather. If I had to let one go it would be the dyna.
