thebestofindica, I have to say thank you, your post just relived so much anxiety for me. Next week i am going to start my 16" 1 1/4 Ape installation. This is an outstanding step by step; keep it coming
Thanks for all the positive comments guys. It's nice to give back because I've taken a ton of information from this website. It's a pay it forward thing in my mind!
Thanks. I'm looking forward to riding again as well. Spring will be here soon enough, although the weather outside is about as far from spring as it can get.
I guess if I helped out even 1 person it was worth it! I'm still waiting on that darn clutch cable and the dealer told me it would be the end of march to get one, and I quickly said [sm=bs.gif]! He's looking elsewhere to speed things up.
what did you use to get the wires through? havin a tough time. got a piece of string to pull the wires through but it seem to be getting stuck near the first bend.
Great idea with the oil can. I picked one up this afternoon. 20X better than that bottle thing I had rigged up. And much cheaper than anything else. I found a syringe-type MC bleeder in the back of the Custom Chrome catalog. They wanted $30 for it. Pass. Got the oil can and hose for under $9.
