I use the Sears aluminum (yellow) jack and I have the adapters neccessery from Harley for the frame rails. It's a pain using the jack by myself but I get it dome. It's worse when the wife helps. That being said, I would consider a Pit Bull designed for a Dyna because no adapters are needed. The jack has been useful for other things as well. I am glad I have it.

I returned my yellow jack after one try and exchanged it for the red one.

The Sears red jack with SC-Longhair's $10 mod requires no adapter, 2x4s, or other things to raise the bike up high enough to slide the jack under. It slides right under and safely raises the bike without out a second pair of hands. The aluminum yellow jack can not be modified this way and will not fit under a stock or lowered Dyna.

Just trying to help the OP find the right Sears jack.

The first jack I bought was the HF yellow model, but found it very difficult to modulate the speed going back down, so the bike would drop quickly. This was on my 950lb+ full dresser, and scared the crap out of me. So that one got returned. It might be better with a Dyna, as they weigh a lot less.

I then bought the Sears aluminum yellow jack, which worked great on that bike. Easy up, easy down, easy to modulate. On the Dyna, though, it doesn't fit under without something small under one of the wheels to lift the bike a bit. Also, the front reinforcement bar between the lift pads is right by the kickstand, so it can't be fully centered under the bike and requires the use of the HD frame pads.

A close friend of mine has 2 of the red Sears jacks, and they work great. They also cost less than the aluminum jack. If I had to do it over again, I'd get the Sears red jack.

I saw two HF models today, one was yellow the other was red, I think. Anyone try the red one? The difference was $99 vs $140 or so. Planning on getting one in a few weeks.
