Too bad you dont like the FatCat, its a great pipe. I'd say the bob cat would be up your alley then. I'm sure you'll get a million questions about it too. Lots of people here seem to want one. DK makes a great intake, they are slim and easy to customize, but so are most. I would recommend their breather bolts too, I have those and love em.

Just a thought not sure what you budget is but have you checked out the new RSD Slant 2-1 pipe comes in a raw finish & the black ceramic looks the goods but it aint cheap!
That is a nice pipe. Price isn't really going to affect my decision. I have no problem paying for quality. BUT, it just looks too sportbike-ish for me.

I'm not AGAINST the Fat Cat. I just want a shorter pipe strictly for lean angle. There's a vid of a 107 Street Bob with the FC on it and it sounds AWESOME! Like I said I'm not against it. Just weighing other options right now. The more I look at the Bob Cat, the more I'm starting to not like it as much. The muffler just reminds me more and more of a sportbike can! I am a function over form guy though! I like the DK ac's the more and more I look at them. They might be getting my money. Them or Figure Machine. Haven't fully decided yet. On the "fun note"...I hope so!!

It's intended for high HP applications but I've put a more restrictive baffle in mine to hopefully build some backpressure, it has yet to see a dyno though. I want to get it on one before I swap it out (moved to a quiet neighborhood) and see how it did.

WOW! That is a drastic weight savings!! I have looked at those actually. I don't like the looks of the pipe. I know. I'm very picky. I only want to have to do this once though! Haha
Ok. So it's taken me a little longer than I wanted to, but I finally got some things paid off and I'm going to start saving up for the parts I want. I'm going to go down the list, and hopefully have the "right" parts picked. Just looking for some advice and maybe different options, but this is what I've found that I like.
For exhaust, I'm gonna do a D&D Fatcat 2-1. Black. Air cleaner, I've decided on the DK customs 587 setup, not quite sure on what cover yet, but I think I have a pretty good idea. I'm really liking the Dynojet Powervision(with autotune) the more I look at it. The more I think about it, I want to just go ahead and do cams now too and get that ouf of the way. There's the problem. There's so many cam choices out there, I don't know where to start. Eventually I'd like to do at least a 107ci upgrade. Maybe a 113" or 117" if I can find a decent one. But for now, I'm gonna stick with stock heads and pistons. I know I want gear driven though so I can get rid of all the factory tensioners and not have to worry about having a failure down the road related to that, since it doesn't really seem to be any real mileage indication on that aspect of it. I'd like to have a mid range to top end cam, because down low, the 103ci is just badass coming off the line. It's not really bad anywhere, but top end it does taper a bit. With these mods, with or sans cams, is a throttle body necessary or will it just be extra added power? Or will it not really make that much of a difference until I do heads and more displacement, and right now it would just be a waste of money? I know it's a lot of questions, and I'm sorry for that. Just trying to find the best way to spend the money and get the most power out of it. On THAT note, what kind of power output would be expected from a well set up 107 to the back tire?
On a side note, I've been wondering about rear shocks and looking at Progressive setups. Does anybody know the stock length of a Dyna shock? I'd like to give it a bit of a raise in the back and dial in some preload so it doesn't sag as much with me on it. I read it tells on the website what the stock length is, but I couldn't find it anywhere.
