Hey Nash are those part numbers good if I use the street bob 2" risers as well? Because the setup I got is the stock bars from a street bob and the stock 2" risers. And I wonder if my stock lower riser bolts(risers to the tree) will be the right length as well or do I need shorter bolts?
Also I hope the 6" risers are good enough for now too. I may test fit the street bob bars to get a feel hopefully that will give me more motivation in getting it done. Lol
I told the parts guy I was using the stock bars and risers off an 07 street bob and that is what he gave me, so if he knows what he is doing we should be good. I searched eBay for the Harley part numbers and found aftermarket stainless that say they are 6" over stock. here is the one I ordered. It is from Magnum, Sterling Chromite II #DS-33196. It also says in the description that it is 56356-96 +6". I found the magnumshielding.com site and like the black pearl cables so I think that is what I will be ordering in the end. If you want the Chromite one I bought already I could make you a pretty good deal on it.
Well Nash I put on the 6" risers and like them alot. But since have the SB bars and risers on the way I think I may still go that route. So I took your list and ordered all the cables and gaskets from HD that I will need for the job. And all I need to get now are new risers bushing and wire extensions. I will keep you posted
Yea I know because i have them on now and everthing fits withouts pulling more wire. but when I put on the street bob bars and risers I will need wire extensions I believe. I ordered them from JP just in case.
Nash ordered all those cables from new castle Harley and every cable is shorter than what I have now. So check them again becuase all these cables have to go back. So pissed off
