I put progressive 11" shocks on my street bob and adjusted to 3rd setting. All they do is squeak from the minute i sit on the bike and any time there is even a millimeter of shock movement. Are mine defective or will this go away over time? It almost seems like the coils are bulging out and rubbing on the inside of the upper cover. Im not happy!

 

I have 440's on mine and it's quiet as a church mouse.

 

Might just need a small dab of lube for the seal.
Try dabbing some light synthetic grease on the rod.
