I think the Silhouette looks great, but it is the most god-awfully uncomfortable seat I ever sat on. I assume that same discomfort would exist for the passenger. Sent it back the next day and gladly paid the 20% restocking fee.

You might look into the Mustang Fastback or Corbin Gunfighter. I prefer my Corbin (no pics yet, just got it this week), but Mustangs are also very comfortable.

Either seat will work for you and your wife will hate both of them. Looks like you have to chose between either a good looking seat or a happy wife! Just get a Touring or Sundowner and switch seats for 2-up.

Le Pera Monterey, Sorrento, or Maverick would suit a passenger better then the silhouette. Silhouette is a profile seat compare to those.

The lepera sucks for a passenger. Thats why you have two seats. One to look good when parked and one thats comfortable on the long hauls. I have both the Daytona and Silhouette for mine, both equally suck for passenger comfort the daytona is better for long trips but could be better. Im looking for a corbin gunfighter with a backrest for long trips.
