Default Commander 2--Thumbs Up

Replaced my stock Dunlop tires with Michellin Commander 2s today. As soon as I left the shop it started pouring rain. Despite the tires being brand new and still slick with mold release agent they felt more solid than my stock tires with 5K on them. After it dried off outside I took it for a ride and while I was still a bit gentle the tires seem to track better and don't transmit as much feel from grooved pavement. I'm very pleased.

+1, they are very good tires. Handled great in the rain for me and even on these SoCal grooved highways I have no problems.

Agreed, huge improvement over stock. And think about the claim of so much more mileage out of them. Can't wait to see if they hold up (So far so good....got about 5000 miles on mine and they still look almost new)

Another happy Commander 2 owner here as well. I switched from the crappy Scorchers, and will never look back! Those tires just sucked, to me anyway. I also have about 4k and 5k on mine, and they both still look like new. Handle very well in the rain as well. I will stick with these. The price is right, and so far I love them.

I've had the 2's on for 4k miles and i think they are great! My only concern is supply and demand, lol, the more we buy them the higher the price will become , and I haven't heard any thing negative from anybody about these tires yet!

I've had mine for about ten thousand miles and still look practically new. My only complaint is they don't come with raised white letters.

Mine now have about 5k on them and look great.

The BEST I ever got out of the Dung-Flops was about 7K so I'm happy..

Tire prices get raised usually twice a year regardless of how many sell. It is the nature of tires. Unfortunately that is just the way it is with tires.
