Side Shot Owners - Question

Any issues with them burning your leg? I'm considering them and I met a guy who said they stick out so far and are so high that they burn (or at least really heat up) the inner thigh.

Anyone?

They do get a little hot, but unless you're in shorts, which isn't a good idea on a bike anyway, you get plenty of warning. I love the look and sound, but they will overheat the inside of your pant leg if you let them. But I guess nothing's perfect. A little inconvenience is worth the "reminder" to move your let out a little.
