I'm planning to put one on my Fat Bob this fall. I need more wind deflection for long highway rides but I hate the look of huge clear windshields. Really like the way the batwing looks on the Fat Bob especially. Do they do a flat black version?
Are you rocking a Fatboy seven inch headlight with that setup? I'm not giving up my bigass headlight.
It's a 7" light, I forget who makes it. My Batwing is a model 7011 designed for touring bikes
so it has the large opening and I replaced the stock light with a larger one.
I was thinking about the same thing. I like the batwing look, but was afraid that it looks kinda weird on a wide glide. I went with the clear WS instead but still think about a Batwing in the future.
I have the MS trigger lock mount so I am all set up for the batwing.
I used the HD clamps with custom sheet metal brackets.
Hey Mike, can you post more pics of the custom sheet metal brackets? I would rather use my HD clamps as well...I've used the Memphis Shades ones before and they are cheap and shitty looking.
