There is a 50% chance that my wife will ride the SB in the sig in the near future (she has no bike, so it's gonna be a 2014 Sportster with ABS or the SB).
My plan was to get a FB if she takes the SB and at first look the 2014 FB just killed that plan. Not so sure now though, this bike could look very interesting with some minor tweaks (side mounted plate, a touch of black here and there, small LED turn signals in the back).
I tried to see one yesterday, but they had them in the back and you had to ask if they even had them. Even though they advertised all week to come by and take a look.
I'll wait til Daytona to take a look.
I had a chance to see one in person, not crazy about the profile view of the rear but I really like the seat. Different from the past and really comfortable..
I think its great. Definitely setting itself apart from other dynas. And thank goodness they got rid of that hideous duckbill fender. As all bikes its going to take a bit to iron out what you do and dont like on your bike. My street bob looks nothing like a stock one. Now am I going to bash the moco for not making it like I had in mind? No. I think they went out on a limb here with the '14 fxdf and I personally believe that this style will grow on people.
Just saw a few of the new 2014's in person, including several Fat Bobs with the new paint schemes.
At one time I had been considering one as my next bike, but not now. Holy cow the new ones are ugly. In fact, they look so bad in person it's kind of shocking HD messed up this badly.
In general I hated the paint schemes and looks of most of the new bikes. They even managed to screw up the Breakout CVO by doing away with the chrome wheels.
Seriously, epic fail. Suddenly, the new Indian Chief looks great by comparison. Harley better get it together.
