Default handlebars??

I have an 09 fatbob wih stock i believe they are 5" risers and dragbars. The problem im having is im 6'3" and my shoulder and lower back start hurting after about an hr of riding. People say the bars are to low foe my height and i need to invest in other ones but cant seem to find any i like. should i go with taller drags or do some apehangers? And input would be great.
Thanks

Are you reaching for the bars? Sounds like you just need the bars to come back towards you more.

You may want to try a set of spacers from Spacer Jims. They make the bars about 2" higher. They are cheap and worth a try. I use them to raise and lower my mini apes according to mood...

16" apes on 1" risers i think are the most comfortable I'm 6'4" but I love the 9" risers with 18"s on my springer

Its not thats im reaching its that my arms are so long that they are bend qhile im riding and it is an uncomfortable position. ill take i look at the spacers. Nevsat do u have a pic of ur springer. Also been lookig at apes but cant find any that would look good on a fatbob. Any suggestions...i looked at carlini but i dont like how they extend pass the forks before they rise up and the narrow burly are only in 1"
