I saw a FB in person at the dealer. It actually looks better in real life than in the photographs.
The one I saw was black with a silver tank stripe. It actually looked good.
The front tire looks a lot more beefy and the wheels are now blacked out. The handlebars looked like that are more pulled back - could be wrong. Sat on it, it had a good feel and real solid bike.
From the side the back fender looks good.
But from the back, I just can't get this image out of my mind.
Sponge Bob Fat Bob
Lol, spongebob fatbob... Thats pretty awesome. I hate spongebob though...
I love my FatBob and as all of the responses of owners most agree, and FB owner tend to lean towards appreciating the handling characteristics of the FB which come from the unique DualDiscs, Sturdy forks (help eliminate flex in front end) that have a slightly steeper angle (helps turn in). Also the FAT front tire which just seems to work inspite of what common thinking says. ( I suspect that the slightly steeper fork outweighs the FATNESS and the FatFront allows it to ignore the roadgrooves.
This is laughable... I guy who has to proclaim his "Coolness" in his name talking about ... BS.

If you take a test ride of a FB, take note of the riding position. Some feel there is too much stretch to the forwards and you will soon be looking for some place else to put your feet... and the long reach to the handlebars. If you are ok with all that - go for it.

You guys make me laugh.
For $2k less than than the Fat Bob you can get a brand new Suzuki Hayabusa that can do 180 mph off the showroom floor.
The Busa will be at 180mph while the FAT Bob is still eating a Candy bar at the starting line

Actually your the one in here making people laugh telling other Harley owners on a harley forum that they should be buying metric bikes. The even funnier part about that is... YOU HAVE A WIDE GLIDE, and your handle is something about cool wide glide... WTF??
You make absolutely no sense. Also, generally speaking on a forum since you clearly dont know much... Dont go into someones thread when they are asking for advice on something specific and spin it way off topic. You arent going to be wanted anywhere. All you look like now is an asshat
