They are not considered a tuner, but for 100 bucks they work pretty good.

If you can afford it get the big shots and the XEID's...and then save up for a real tuner for the future.
That would be one of my suggestions.

I have a fuelpak and xieds and they seem to work well together. But I still get some popping on decel though. I think it is just the nature of the beast when you have pipes/mufflers with more open baffles like our exhausts have. Just my opinion.

Why would you run both? Wouldn't that confuse the fuelpak?? The codes you get will no longer apply to your set up. Or do they have a code for the exhaust and xieds?

I have a 2012 Wideglide and have Short shots with RSD Clarity AC. I have the V&H Fuel pak and have little to no decel pop.

the xieds and the fuelpak compliment each other, they work very good together, I'm running the same setup with Rinehart Churchill pipes and very happy with it

But to buy both, the cost? Wouldn't you be better off just buying a Power Vision?

I don't think you'd perhaps set out planning to do both, unless you got them used and cheaper.

Quite a few folks kinda drift into the combo having bought one and then later getting the other.

They work reasonably well together because the Xieds handle closed-loop only and the Fuelpak only handles open-loop. So there's little conflict between the two.

Mine used to do that too, but after installing the SEPST and 204 cams and dynoed, not more popping.

High not sure how to send you a personal message on this Forum? I have a few questions about Thunder-Max with auto tune. first off do you think the motor runs smoother/ less vibe throughout the RPM range? Did you see an improvement on your fuel economy? Did you install the Thunder-Max your self and write the base map to the controller?

What's the downside to having the O2 sensors eliminated?

My bike already had the fuelpak on it when I bought it. I ended up buying the xieds used just for good measure and because even Vance & Hines say that they work well together. I don't plan on any performance mods other than whats already on the bike so I didn't see the need/sense in spending all that money on a tuner.
