Currently my Dyna has the ugly "natural" colored Cylinder "Jugs". I have always wanted to do a black as the rest of the motor and most of the tranny has been chromed over the natural color, expect for the cylinder fins...
Is it feasible to pick up the black cylinder jugs, and have them installed? Or is it something that the base and everything would have to be replaced as well?
Also, what would something like this run cost wise?
Do you have a 96ci motor? I have a pair of black jugs for sale, 13,000 miles only excellent condition. PM me ok.

The parts manual for "DYNA MODELS" indicates PN 16525-99 (silver) for my '06 FXDi (Super glide) and a couple others.
PN 16526-99 (black) for a Low rider, Wide glide, and Street bob.
Just guessing here....I'm thinking The answer to your question is yes. The cylinder Assemblies are interchangeable. However, It is advisable to include new pistons/rings in that"swap"
If you are going to the trouble of swapping jugs, you might as well install a big bore at that point. So go to a larger displacement. S&S, Revolution, and a few others sell bolt on kits with different color jugs and matching pistons.

+1.
Fuelmoto and Hillside, both sponsors here, also offer 107 kits. Swap jugs, pistons, and cam.
