Why does everyone get 2-1 exhaust?

Not sure how much you want to know, but this is a good read about 2-1 exhaust. I had these on an Ultra a few years ago, liked them alot. Thinking seriously about puting them on again on my current Ultra.

I love the look and sound of my pro pipe 2:1. Like a big *** bazooka hanging on the side.

YEs but somewhere along the like someone called it back pressure and it stuck.

Yep, all about scavenging, the exhaust gasses do not have to stop and start all the time, like two into two.

great for low end torque.

Just to be different I think. Different sound, looks, etc. Don't think it really matters, just whatever makes you happy. Everyone wants to change their bike & exhaust somewhat. I opted for SE slip-ons. Did seem to give me a little more power (imagination?). Like the sound much better.

I'd agree with you both, the language has just stuck with me and generally gets the point accross, nonetheless thanks for the clerification.
