Are open primary drives more practical than the chain-driven standard?

What's the point really. You're setup now functions properly. Do you want to spend two grand on something for looks. I sure don't. I put mine on to avoid leaks an run mid controls if I wanted to

Primo belt drives are top notch. but belts have there own set of problems. I did a closed belt conversion on a 2000 ish dyna and it was fine. I had to drill some ventilation holes in few places however so the belt would not get hot and break. It was great to not have to worry about fluid and chain adjustments but when the belt broke it was a pain in the a@@. chain drives are fine for most applications.
