Hi all I just posted a day or so ago that I bought a 2013 SB, I just want to know what are you guys running for bags? I dont like the look of big bulky bags on a dyna. I already have a Bad G battery bag. I was thinking about a down tube bag for tools? Also a fork bag or fork bag stereo and possibly for long trips a bag to strap on the left side by the shocks? All ideas welcome thanks.

I have a set of the Leather Pro detach bags, the Harley down tube bag and a Biker's Friend roll bag for sale in the classifieds. They are all awesome bags and each has a different use...
Using these on my FXDC. No changes needed. I'm using a dual seat so the straps go under the seat for a neat installation. Could work for you too, under $100.... Got a fork bag from Cycle Gear for under $40.00. Holds EZ tag, and some tools. tp

FXDXT retro bags. Love them and they are detachable even though they don't come off much these days. Always nice to be able to stop on the way home and grab a six-pack too.

I love mine as well, but they require turn signal/plate relocation. If you want a slim, but useful day bag, you can't go wrong with Bad&G's solo bags for Dynas. Easy on/easy off and they leave nothing behind. The "hard" leather version is really nice.
I used the crap out of mine until my command started mando, all hands PT and I couldn't fit my gear, lunch, and uniform in it and needed something bigger.
I have a licks solo back from my 48 that lives on the fender strut, but I'm a daily rider and commute with crap to work, so I have a saddleman drifter (i think) sissy bar bag. It's great for trips and daily commute if you need lots of crap, or grocery shopping if it's too much to fit in a back pack...I kind of live on my bike...
