i think i know what happened, i unhooked the battery to put on my led lights and i think that reset the trip, which means i would have had more miles on it than what i calculated, currently running a new tank to see what it gets this time

So filled the bike up today, 72.3 miles took 2.8 gallons which equates to 26mpg, this is still crazy low. All I've done to the bike is short shots, screamin eagle intake and xieds. Most of riding has been 35mph on post, any thoughts

Mines a 12 fxdwg and it's definitely lower than all but an older 1 at 22, every other was mid to hi 30s and mid to low 40s

although no 2012's you still have a larger sample pool than I do

Do you let it idle a lot before taking off in the mornings or sit at red lights a lot?

I sit at a few red lights on post during my travels back and forth to work, but i usually only let it idle for maybe a minute

Thanks, unfortunately it was like this before and after mods so I have no clue where to start and dealership is probably going to say its lack of download and my xieds

Your welcome. Hmmm, I don't know. I have a fuelpak and xieds and get in the upper 30's. Got in the mid 40's on a recent trip and I was doing 70-75mph most of the time.
