I'm trying to decide wether I like to looks of accent lights or not. All I could find with a search was pics of baggers. Anyone have some accent lighting on your dyna? I'd love to see some pics.
I have been thinking about doing this. With all the wrinkle black and mostly black parts on my bike I was trying to think of a good setup that would glow nice abcause of the lack of reflection possible. If I do this, I plan on using a dark purple / black light color and using one of thos programers that let you choose the light pattern and setting it to breath so the light fads in and out like the bike is breathing.
I don't think I've really seen anything except baggers too. I'm not much for them personally, but I think they could be pulled off nicely. I think with less chrome they would look better...more subtle is what I'm thinking. Tons of chrome + lights =lots of sparkle.
i just put soem UV strips on my dyna, after i shto the video *the next day i put some behidn the horn cover and air cleaner cover to better ligth up the engine* still got a few left to put on but waitign till i finish up doign a set of hard bags and a fatboy front end before i get the rest done so no point in puttign them on till i finish the install.
heres a quick vid, they look klinda bluish i nthe vid but in person they are black light LEDS with a kinda muted purple glow, looks really good with the flat and gloss black combinations of the bike
I can't tell be specific about Cali, but I do know that in many states I have been in a few will let you ride with these on but many don't and will only let you have them on when parked. Some states will fine you if you use colors used by emergency vehicles. NC will (or did when I lived there) if you had blue or red, the say it's imitating the emergency vehicle (blue strobe lights like on a police car).
