I have about an inch on you in height and 40,000 miles on my bike. I am always looking for ways to be more comfortable on the bike. Just changed my seat again. Went to the Le Pera Silhouette Deluxe from a C&C solo......AWESOME! Much closer to the foot controls WITHOUT the nut crunching effect of "up front" seats.

With the 11" shocks (another change for the sake of comfortability) I had to ditch the floorboards and go back to my pegs. If anyone is interested in either the seat or the boards, send me a PM please.

Changed the exhaust too (Rush)....

What the hell, right???

Just sit on a Switchback. It will probably be near perfect position for your size in stock form.

But, take one for a ride. I was set on a Fat Bob until I sat on and then rode a Switchback. Bought the Switchback.
A couple K later on the odometer and I don't have a complaint on the riding position. That windshield buffets against a helmet at highway speeds and that's the annoying thing about it past that CAT that is going to disappear soon from the exhaust.

im 5'6 with a wide glide that I raised up an inch for extra clearance on turns. and honestly I could give a **** what other people think. I love my bike.
side note was told a story by the guy at the local bike shop about a midget that had a 70's Honda in the mid 80's and would run along side of it and jump on to the seat every time he left a stop. I don't think he cared what other people thought.

No there's not. Anyway, it's better than the alternative...

Im too with the same issue here, just standing 5'5" tall, just bought a 2013 superglide. I have replaced my seat with super reduced seat but I still want my handle bar closer to me. Flanders has a pullback handle bar with a 16" pullback. what you guys think about that?

Heck, I am 5'7" and I have an Electraglide Limited. You can make any bike fit you,and who cares what you look like. Get what you enjoy riding.

I also have a Dyna Superglide. I did add a riser and forward controls to make it more comfortable. Easy peasy.
