That's funny. When I was considering bikes, the old bagger guys in the general forum told me not to get my Street Bob unless I'm 5'5" tall. What a load. You'll do fine on the Fat Bob.

I'd bet the comment came from a non-Dyna rider.

You will be fine, if you have problems down the road with shrinkage you can lower the front & rear suspension, get a lower (and narrower) seat and wear some thick soled boots

I'm 5'7" with only a 30" inseam & sit my bone-stock FXD flat footed & knees bent.

You'll be fine. Getcher ride on how YOU want & screw everybody else.

This whole concept of "looking right" or "looking wrong" on a bike is total BS. If you like the way you feel when you ride it, you're good. I wonder if the person who told that to the OP was a salesman who was trying to steer him to a bike with a bigger profit margin.
