Default lowering my 03 lowrider

ok so im new to this site was wanting to know what is the stock size shocks and if i can lower it any without changing the back tire im looking at progressive 412 any insight would be helpful

I used progressive 411 shocks on the rear of my '03 lowrider. Bought a 3° raked wide front that's +3" from Demons Cycle and it worked out perfect. See pics in sig. If you want to see before and after I have those too.

One important thing to do is keep the back tire from scrubbing the inside of the rear fender. There are wires under there.

stock low rider shocks are 12inch, FXD are 12.6, you can lower all the way down to 10.5 but the ride would be stiff and potholes would hurt,or the shock would bottom out I found 11 inch to be the sweet spot, and no the tire won't rub, but the belt guard would it the front of the fender with 10.5

and as mentioned watch out for the wire harness in the back fender

Haven't had any issues with mine. I'm at 10.5". No rubbing even with a passenger. Just saying, this is actual experience, not theory
