Lowering Kit
I have one in my 1200C, I bought it in ebay, it lowered about an 1", no problem so far, I`m a short guy 5'6" and they fit on the bike like a glove, took me about 1 1/2hr from start to finish..hope this help[sm=burnout.gif]
The potential problem I see is with full sized riders or 2-up, especially with a slightly larger rear tire (ie: ME880 160) since the shocks will not bottom out before the tire rubs the inside of the fender. Some have had wiring harness issues with this prob.
IMHO the better way to lower would be to put shorter shocks 11" or 10.5" (Progressive 412 are about 190 per pair)- properly selected, they would keep the rear fender off the tire. Just my .02

tarmac lowering blocks are cheap... or pull your shock apart and cut out a coil... both work... if you go any lower than 2 in i would cut your kick stand a bit
