Approx what is the stock hp an tq rateing on a 01 88"? Thx in advance!

Typical is low to mid 60's HP and Mid 70's TQ

For a bone stock 88", that would be about right at the crank, not at the rear wheel. Take 10 off each for rear wheel & you're close....low to mid 50s hp & mid to upper 60s tq.

wow that sucks!!! im trying to get a starting point so i can see how i am coming along. i have added a big sucker a/c an andrews 26 cams how much extra hp is that good for?

Breather will help, cams will change the hp & tq curves, but you're not going to see good gains out of them unless you go with a 2-1 pipe. A good 2-1 is the single biggest performance improvement you can make IMO. Anything else is for looks & sound & you're not going to get the potential out of your cams without one.

That pipe is useless in making numbers... Look for a D&D or Vance&Hines Pro PIPE or Thunder header or I like the freedom performance union 2into 1. A 2-1 is your best option .these little short pipes do nothing but make noise.
