For those that have switched to touring shocks, which are better on the dyna road king or street glide?

The road king shocks are 13", the Street glide are 12", the same height as the FXD's.. 13" shocks do look a bit high as they lift the back up over 1" because of the mount angle.

I'm 260 lbs. The shocks on my SG afford a very stiff ride due to heavier springs needed for lack of travel over the longer RK shocks. I switched to 13" Progressive air adjustable shocks..Much smoother ride.

I'm running the road king 13" take offs. Simply because a buddy gave them to me. I like them. Bike sits a freckle higher but is not an issue.

the late model shocks which i have ( i believe 08 and up) can go up to 50lbs.
after the oil change i run 20-22 solo and 22-25lbs with wife on back
i weigh 160-165 and wife is dare i say 135..

before shock oil change it rode like a baby carriage, too bouncy..

I also have late model pair. I'm 210 run 20 solo 25 2 up. Heavier oil definitely helps. Some what of a pain in the rear to do though. I think it may be 09 and up. Either way riding on air way better than stock shocks.
