Default Taller Fork Tubes FXDB

I'm looking for a little extra height on the front end of my Street bob.
From what I understand, The stock fork tubes on my 2007 FXDB are 25.5"?

Has anyone gone up to 27" or even 30" long tubes?

Thanks

I read that the 49mm Wide glide fork tubes are 27.913"

Would it be as simple as just swapping out my stock tubes with the longer stock wide glide ones, for the extra 2.4 inches?

I have done it on a few bikes.
I would do some research as which way would be less cost.
It is a rather simple job.

If you do a swap and are wanting to sell your stock tubes let me know! I am going the other route and putting reduced rake trees and shorter tubes on my wide glide

I have 2 over tubes that are actually 1-1/2" longer than stock. We corner hard as heck and I wouldn't want them any longer, as the handling could change for the worse.
Along with Ricor Intiminators and the Darkside 175/80/16 in back, I have the same lean as some sportsters. It's nice.

Where do you even buy longer tubes? Sonuds like something I want to do to my Dyna for a little more ground clearance and better suspension...

Dayum, I wish the ol' 'pooter hadn't crashed and had to be revamped; I had ALL the links for EVERYTHING you could ever want, but I got to all of them by net searches. I guess I could go thru my paper drawer and find an invoice for you if I have to. I DO recall that there are a host of slam kits out there, (which are useless for riderswhoride...) but only one or two extending stock gear.

Yeah, the slammed look is nice, but useless. I actually need longer shocks and while I'm at it, I was also looking for longer fork tubes as well.
