I guess the 03' LowRider is much easier then......for a tender with clamps. All I do is hook it up

The tender I bought has charging rate options and a LED output graphfor level of charge.........you can use 2, 4 or 6 amp charge.

Roughly $30 at Wally Mart

Well... I was finally able to find the two bolts holding the battery case in place. Got the 'pigtails' on the battery and put the seat back on the bike. I connected the battery charger/tender to the pigtail so it would start charging while I put the sissy bar back on. Lo and behold... it was working... for about a minute. Suddenly... SMOKE! The battery charger/tender was pouring smoke! (Can you say "smoke tested"?) I immediately disconnected the tender from the bike then the wall. Call J&P Cycles (where I got the charger) and I am sending it back for a replacement. Man... can things get any worse? :-)

Yep! I got the pigtails installed on the battery, but the darn charger"smoke tested" itself today. The charger was new, right out of the box! I tucked the pigtail under the seat, just above the battery, while I get a replacement.

Just to say the batteries at Walmart aren't worth the time to purchase. I had bought a battery for my bass boat and it wasn't worth the money. Also, a friend at work had to enchange batteries a few times to get a good one.
