I recently purchased my first Harley Davidson from ABC Waterford HD Dealership, so shoutout to those guys that help me get the bike. Below are pictures of how the bike sat at the dealership.
I'm hoping through this thread I can be able to give answers out for other dyna owners who like the same style and vision that I have for my motorcycle.
I'm currently trying to pursue the "Outlaw/Thug" style. Listed below is the article of where I saw just on how I'm going to go about sort of making my bike look like but putting some of my own touches to it. http://www.hotbikeweb.com/features/0.../photo_03.html
So far all I have been able to do with the bike is strip the fenders off and the air scoop as well to get it repainted, including getting foot pegs off because they are damn ugly. I also was able to get the smoked look to my taillights as well.

1. Need gloves because you do not went to touch light bulbs with greasy hands. You can also use paper towels.
2.you will need a flat head to pop off covers to swap out new ones.
3. I think it goes without saying make sure bike is off

3.
4. For the rear taillights the light bulbs on the end will just have a single dot.
5. For both of the light bulbs when you put in socket and twist if they won't twist and lock in you'll notice on the sides little pins. It means you have wrong pin facing the lock in you'll need to flip it, took me 15 mins to figure that out lol
6.
Front bulbs
7. Enjoy

Nice bike but damn those footpegs are ugly. Who thought that was a good styling touch?? I see you already have an air dam and the bike in the photo gallery has an old Rick Doss front spoiler, probably the best looking one ever made(my opinion). I hope the fork oil has been changed since the bike was new. That is a special descent into hell requiring two people, removal and partial dissasembly of the fork tubes from the bike, a cartridge fork spring compressor , and a fork oil level measuring kit. Oh by the way, the service manual does not explain the process clearly or show all the parts broken down. You have to learn as you go. I just got done rebuilding mine.

To be honest the guy who owned the bike before me brought the foot pegs for the bike. i took them all off and was like why in gods name he brought those. I have a lot of work to do with the bike to make it road worthy. And as far as I know the dealership serviced the bike since they sold it so I dont think i need to screw with the forks just yet. i'm still looking for a good racing fork spring kit to buy for it but i'm waiting till I get the new wheels and tires for it.
