Default Need recommendation for mounting block
Hey folks I just purchased a RSD 5.75" headlight for my Street Bob and of course at a staggering price of $425 it didn't come with a mounting block. Any recommendations for a height that would put the light right in the middle of my triple trees? Also, I was checking out headwinds blocks and they run $50. Anybody know where I can get something for a reasonable price. Thanks!

I made my own with some aluminum 3/4" bar stock. You will probably need a drill press though.

I don't have the original block from the bike.

You could fashion one from anything thats sturdy and paintable.

You can get a stock mounting block for around $30 from one of the dealers that discounts parts. The part # is 67741-06.
