Default Dyna Pulley Question

I tried to find my answer on search but could not find an answer.

I want a lot more low end power on my 07 fxdb. Whats the highest Tooth Count rear pulley that would fit my bike?

(Changing the front pulley is out of my league and out of my budget to get done at a shop.)

I believe stock rear is 66. Is there a 75 tooth? would i still be able to hit 100mph after doing this? Thanks

Pulley from an 06 Dyna is 70 tooth and will fit, but requires replacing the belt, which requires pulling the primary, then you might as well do the front pulley as long as you have it apart.

This is correct. For reference a 2 tooth rear pulley change is roughly equivalent to a 1 tooth front pulley change.

You won't get much at all changing the rear without changing the belt.

Just remember that whichever way you go to change your final drive ratio you will have to figure out what 100 mph really is, since your speedo reading will be off. I know you're trying to figure out what to do but it will affect the speed that the gauge is telling you.

You should get away with a 2 tooth change to your rear pulley without changing your belt. May not be a big enough change for you, only ~ 3%.
