I bought my '12 with 800 mi. from a guy on ebay ... paid 11.9 and cost me $475 to ship.. it's perfect and from what Ive been told, got a sweet deal. I've looked on ebay since and there's several Switchy's available for LESS than 15.5 ..... I'd sure shop around ...
I am thinking about adding a Switchback to go with my Sportster 72. I was originally going to go for a Street Bob but I am rethinking that decision.
I want something that is a do all bike and the Switchback look's interesting. There is no way that I want a big touring bike as being in NYC that will not work for me.
Any thought's?
Thought they are a very nice bike, I looked at one but went with the 2013 Heritage when I moved up from my Sportster. Not that much more, and you get some more leg room for both rider and passenger.
I traded my Fat Bob in for a new 2013 Switchback in Sept. I put 2.5k miles on it before I had to put it away for the winter....All I can say is its an awesome bike and I can't wait for spring......
I went from a modded 48 to a modded switchback. I wanted something or long rides and the sporty doesn't cut it. I am very happy with the bike, has a similar feel to the sporty which made it easy to switch. I have slight buyers remorse that I didn't go with a Street Glide but that being said I'm only about 5'7" and I feel a SG is too big for me.
Stay tuned to my build I am doing a complete makeover this winter...
