if your interest in shocks if for the sole purpose of doing wheelies get the shortest stiffest ones you can find. FYI: your spine will hate them

you work at a HD shop and your first post here is to ask about suspension? My advice is to get the best suspension you can afford.

C'mon guys. Yes, the opening post is weird, but a new member should get some leeway.

What bike?

If you want shocks just for the purpose of getting it up, low and stiff as already posted.

If you want a good suspension that is condusive for aggressive riding, Ohlins, Works Performance, JRI, Ricor, and even the higher end progressives are all good shocks.

Every wheelie "should" culminate in your front tire coming back to earth. This requires front suspension too. At the least, look into Ricor Intiminators, but you should also upgrade the springs. Traxxion single rate sprinngs, RaceTech, and Progressive are also much better than stock.

I agree with SLV about the front suspension. Coming down hard is a lot of stress on the seals and even though you want to practice your landings, you want something up front that can handle the punishment. That would be my first concern before I'd worry about the rear shocks. What do the techs who work in your shop suggest?
