I am thinking of switchin g the stock shocks for Progressives on my 06 Dyna superglide. I sledom ride two up. Am I really gonna notice a positive difference?
I changed out my stock shock on my '06 SG to the low profile HD shocks and they work just fine. Although, they ride much like the stock ones, but look better and shorter. One of my buds has progressives on his ride and he tells me that there was a very noticable difference for the better.
I have test ridden the Progressives (a friend has Progressives on his Low Rider) so I am going with Progressive springs and 440s for the rear. So far I think will be a great improvement.
I actually found the 440s for sale on this Forum and I ordered the front springs through my HD dealer (and got HOG discount). You can also find good deaals on eBay.
