Still some cleaning up to do, but I like the result. Added a chrome lower belt guard for some contrast. Not a bad result for $75 in parts. My favorite part is the open rear fender over the wheel.
How difficult was it to saw that thing off? Was it still on the bike, or did you take it off first? I'm not particularly wild about the plate hanging down in the back either, but personally, nor do I care much for the side mounted ones I've seen. So, for now, mine is staying where it is.

I tried to remove the plastic first but gave up. It wasn't too hard using a Dremel tool with a cutting wheel. You have to slice up the plate pretty good to get to the inner edges and trim it colse. Once you start, you're committed. Took me all of 30 minutes to do.
