05 superglide apes
Looking to install apes on my 05 superglide.I believe I'll have to use risers
if I'm going to 1 1/4".Any idea's about how high to go,without getting my
speedo to high?Anybody been down this road?

You don't need new risers. I put 16s on my fxd. Got fresh cables from burley,(internal wiring is a bitch but it looks a lot cleaner). No problems yet. It's been about two years now, haven't even had to tighten them.
