Default Increasing Riser Height

Thinking of changing my 11/2" wild 1 riser to the 3 1/2 height riser to gain a little height to my apes. I installed the stiffer bushings w not the supper stiff wild 1 bushings the first time. Is there any negative to switching to a little taller riser as far as handling or should I look at taller apes. I am thinking I want to gain another 1 1/2 - 2" in height. My apes are 10" I would rather not have to rewire the bars and everything.

I have 10" risers with drag bars and I've had no problem. My buddy just put 8" on train and loves them. I had 3 1/2" on my 10" apes and loved them. Just put stiffer bushings like you did and you should be ok.

Get the poly riser bushings. It sounds like you have them, but they are a must with apes...Make sure your cables are long enough for the new risers...
