Black does seem to be the go-to color. That is the color I have on the books right now. At times I wish it would just lock in so I can't change it. Then I would just accept it and go from there. For now I think I will stick with vivid but I still have a couple months to think about it!
...or you could always paint 'em like Rick Fairless
Yikes! Yeah maybe not.

It was easy for me as the model I wanted only came in vivid black or Silver Pearl
Bad part is the Wide Glide is not sold in Korea. There is one here at the on base dealer and it is the charcoal pearl with flames. It's meh. I got to see the vivid with and without flames as well as the blackened cayenne when I was home on my mid-tour. Liked them all. Tough decision. I was thinking the vivid with flames would be good because the rest of the tins don't have the pinstripe. Then I see some of these straight vivid bikes and they look awesome. I'll just have to sleep on it. I am sure it will come down to whatever I like the best at the time the order gets submitted LOL.
Black goes with everything, and it's easier when you're adding accessories such as bags to get everything to match. There are some colors I have liked over the years, but vivid black is still my go to color.
I was at my dealer this weekend & they had just gotten a Softail Slim in that is the Charcoal satin....WOW, that's an awesome color in person!
I have the '11 in chrome yellow. I picked that because it was different (in 3 years I have yet to see another on the road). But I have to admit, after a while it can get old. Sometimes I wish I got the black. As said before you can't go wrong with black and chrome. Plus its cheaper...
It's a shame the WG doesn't have all the H-D1 color options like the Street Bob. I chose my Candy Orange because I liked how it looked as a stock color on the Fat Boy Lo.
But, as many have stated, it's a lot easier to color match the black tins.
