Just wondering where everyone has their stickers. I hate the thought of having it placed on my fender somewhere. I'm due for my inspection this fall for the first time.

 

Usually where it goes is up to the state you live in. Some want it on the plate, some want you to carry it on your person. I've seen ads for "sticker plates" which look like they bolt on to the license plate area, so there must be states that allow that. One place I lived wanted it on the left down-tube. Find out what your state wants and figure out what's least objectionable. A good place to start might be calling the dealership and ask where they put 'em.

 

I bought my bike from a used dealer in January. I really like the dealer, but I hate that when they did the state inspection for delivery, they put the sticker on the upper portion of the fork tube (and its crooked as hell). I am going to mount an inspection sticker mounting plate to the frame near the motor mount for next year.

 

I got mine from the local dealer, $ 8.00 Chrome plate mounts next to the front Motor Mount. Has to be visible from the left front.

 

I never had them place it on the bike, matter of fact on the Dyna I have never had a sticker...

I can't imagine having a sticker put on the chrome lower...

 

I'm just gald we don't have inspection stickers here in the People Democratic Republic of Maryland.

 

In the state of Louisiana, I have mine in the tool bag in a ziplock bag.

 

Her in Pa they require it to be on the left side of the bike. I know guys who use an inspection plate and others who palce it on the down tube. I have mine on the down tube and no one even notices. Luck would have it that my month is blue which matches my bike.
