Nope no kits out there. I ended up making mine as well. Fwiw, I also added a strip of "foam" between the mount and the frame. Like the kind used for sealing between a camper shell on a truck and the bed sides. Just to keep out water and dirt and so there wouldn't be metal to metal contact.
I actually turned up some stainless steel spacers on the lathe since the mounting surface is quite uneven, so that's actually the only spots the plate is making contact.. and this bike will only see sunshine so I wasn't too worried about dirt or water on this particular build
