Default solo/bobber seat SOLID mount. no springs

I searched and searched and couldn't find a seat mount plate for my 07 street bob to solId mount a seat. I couldn't even find any info from someone that made their own, so I figured I'd post what I made for anyones future projects. all of it was made with 12 ga. steel (.100") and was bent with a hand brake then powdercoated. I added a license plate bracket and wiring for my plate light.

Nope no kits out there. I ended up making mine as well. Fwiw, I also added a strip of "foam" between the mount and the frame. Like the kind used for sealing between a camper shell on a truck and the bed sides. Just to keep out water and dirt and so there wouldn't be metal to metal contact.

Please pardon my ignorance, but why not just get a Le Pera bare bones? Similar look at 1/20th of the assumed trouble...

the reason I went this direction, is I wanted to remove the stock rear fender, as well as the fender struts. the le pera seats mount the the fender. I wanted to change it up a bit from what I usually see on dynas. I believe it might have been Robbie13's bike I saw pics of and made me want to do it
