Can I get ideas from where you all mount the state inspection sticker for those of you required to display one? In VA it has to be visible on the left side of the vehicle. Only problem is mines mounted to the belt guard and covered by my saddle bag. They harassed me last time at a 'checkpoint.' Don't want it on the front motor mount, can't use the top of the frame hole (I have an engine guard), don't want it on the brake caliper mounts on the fork leg. .any one else run into this? Wish they'd do away with the stickers. Was never an issue until I moved to Fairfax County, they're aggressive about checking here.
I came across that just now. How big is your sticker? We have 4x3's here. Did you modify the standard TX tag mount that goes behind your license plate to get that?
I think one of the vendors like J&P has a bolt on plate just for this purpose.
No way would I put a gubbermint decal directly on some bike part.
If it were me, I would fab something up.
FWIW and surprisingly, Ca does not require this inspection sticker BS.
