When I was stationed in VA, I caved and made a polished aluminum plate to mount on my caliper bracket, for the base sticker and ridiculously large inspection sticker...

Yep, me too, am hoping to find a plate (ss) that I can bolt on the two fender bolts on the left side. Right now they stuck the sticker on the windscreen....not good. Fork tubes not good neither. Go Va, arrggh. Let's just smack em on the derby cover???

When I picked my Dyna up they had a plate on the forward bracket hole, and I didn't like it. I asked to change it, but was denied. So I put it on the belt guard/over. I unscrewed the bolt above the axle and put the plate on top and screwed it back in...

Texas finally did away with inspection stickers last year...you have to have your vehicle inspected before you can get it registered so if it has current registration, then it has a current inspection. Now inspections are cheaper but registration costs more... Best idea for inspections yet.
