Side mount plate question

Side mount plate question

I just ordered a side mount license plate. Do I need the hole 3/4" or 1" to mount it on the belt guard? Thanks

EDITED: Just reread your question...at first I thought you were wanting to mount it on the axle.

If you want to mount it on the belt guard, just unscrew that rear bolt and check the size...it's under 3/4" though.
