Default side mount license plate mounting point

Where is the best place to mount a tag holder? on the lower shock mount, belt guard rear axle. Any help would be appreciated.

I think it really depends on the mount.

I mounted mine on the inside of the lower shock bolt. I went with a horizontal mount and this got it tucked into the bike the best.

I cant tell where or if you have any wiring to the plate holder, if you do what did you do with the wiring? Im gonna have a light on the mount. Good looking bike by the way.

I ran it down the inside of the swing-arm then up the downtube to under the seat. Tapped into the blue wire on the rear harness for power.

I made one that is welded to the inside spacer of the shock mount, and then goes back to the belt gaurd bolt. metal and chrome plating cost all $40.

I used some zipties in places you cant see it then some thick padded tape along the whole swingarm to keep it all tight against it.
