been thinking, about going to a sundowner 2 up, have both the sundowner solo and the mustang with the backrest, but would like to move forward a little and have been told that the sundowner 2 up would do that, tried a reach 2 up and it was a hair to close.

I finally made my choice. I actually ordered the HD touring seat. I saved $86 on it.
I couldn't see spending all that money on a Mustang seat that I'd never seen in person.
I also wasn't happy with the Sundowner demo I sat on. I thought the extra height made it harder to be sure-footed with my feet down. I got to thinking about it. All the years I rode my Sportster I never had a problem with the height and it sits higher than my Dyna. Then it dawned on me how much more narrow the Sportster seat it.
So I went with the Touring seat. Should be as comfy as the Sundowner but an inch more narrow. It's combo of height and width should be just right for me. I hope. lol

I really like the new Touring Seat. Sits good and really don't look bad. Can't wait to put some miles on it and see how it feels on the road. Here are some pics. You can see the difference with the stock seat. I'm thinking of putting the strap on it. I think it would actually look better with it for once. Saved about $86 on it with Surdyke. Good place to order from.

I still haven't got to try the new seat out on the road yet. However it does move you up a little and it does sit a little higher. I think it's gonna be about right for me. I hope to get done cleaning and waxing so I can finally try it out this next weekend when I get the bike out for the first time this year.
