I recently bought a nice set of used Leatherworks throw-overs for my 06 Lowrider and was wondering if anyone here is running throw-overs on and do you use the support brackets mounted on the side? I am trying to find some that fit without pushing the bags to far out and look like wings.
I have throw-overs on mine with the supports and they stick out a little, but would rather have that than holes in the bags from rubbing the shocks or other things.

I have throw overs, but did not like the supports sticking out. I put D rings on both sides of the bags and use a strong velcro around the struts. Mind you, I removed me rear signals and integrated them into my tail light so they are not in the way.
Bags do not even get anywhere near the wheel.
Thanks everyone for your replies, guess i better get some brackets. Think i'll go ahead and relocate my rear turn sigs and integrate them with the laydown plate. That will allow me to remove the braket when i'm not using the throwovers. I only use them for travel, not on all the time.

Look at the single point bracket from Viking Bags. You won't need to relocate your signals with these and the are only $30.

Let me know the process on how to remove the long a$$ bolt for the turn signal. I too, is planning on relocating my rear turn signal lights. I hit a snag when I discovered that bolt is not so friendly for removal.

Thanks for the headsup on the long bolt, didn't know that. I just ordered the relocation kit from j&p that lets you reuse the factory turn sigs (i like the 'wings') and lay down your plate. I'll let you know how it goes, but it may be awhile before i get to it, ith work and all. I'll just repost here. Thanks again.
