I ordered mine on Sunday and it arrived today. Spent about 30 minutes putting it on and it was as easy as could be. I'm sure even a stock replacement mount would have been an upgrade from the sticky, gummy separated mount I had but I think this mount will be better with the lateral link bar on it.
If I have any problems in the future I will report back.
I took it out for an hour tonight and it was much better than before. I hit some bouncy sections of road and it didn't seem like the *** end was wagging around like it used to.
I still need to do the engine/wheel alignment and make sure it is straight up before I get too excited. I'm sure it has to be off some. It would be a miracle if it was right after replacing that tired front mount.
I had to force the motor to the right to get the bolts to line up to the lower block. Replacing the mount should get the front and rear tires squared up to each other. My Dyna seems to have a slight offset to the left at the rear tire.
Hey guys awesome thread! I am so ready to buy something to take care of this slow dead wobble at 75mph+. How is it working for everyone? I was also looking at the sputhe and TT. I know this is a mount and stabilizer, but does it stabilize as well as those or better? Any long term users? Do we have to replace the rubber after a few miles or does it hold up? Any info helps, thank you!!
I just got my 2002 Wide Glide less than two months ago and there is a wobble that shows up in curves above 60 and on straight-aways when I hit tar snakes.
After reading thread after thread after thread, a lot of people pin point the wobble to the front motor mount. I looked at mine last night and the engine is resting on the rubber. From what I have read, there is supposed to be a gap. The bike only has 22000 miles on it, but it is 14 years old and rubber breaks down.
So, I just ordered the Vibra-Technics front motor mount. Fingers crossed this fixes the issue.

Good to hear man, please let me know how it goes? Thats a few bucks for me to spend but if it works than im going for it. From what Ive read, the OEM motor mounts should be replaced every 7k to 10k miles. Hopefully this aftermarket one has longer life.
Will do. I just received tracking notification from them and it will be here tomorrow. I'll try and install it this weekend.
if you order one, order it from the UK site. The US site seems to take forever to ship out. Plus the UK site will save you about $70

I think you will be quite happy just like I did with mine! I will put one on my new 2011 FXDC that I will get next week too in a few month when I save a bit of $$$.
Just received tracking information. It will be here tomorrow by noon. Stupid fast shipping from the UK.
