ok.got her where i want it.originally i got the springs from traxxion wich were 30x300x1.0,installed intiminators, added the fork oil,5wt,to what brian at Ricor reccomended, about 6 inches from top of tube, tubes fully collapsed, set sag at what traxxion reccomended in their instructions,35mm or about 1 3/8".rode over the weekend and thought it was a lil stiff, felt planted, but stiff,so i called traxxion and talked a bit and ordered the 30x300x.95 springs, got them today and been riding about 2 1/2 hrs,,i like this set up better,RR tracks feel more controlled, potholes, man hole covers feel better, brake dive didnt change any from the 1.0 springs, not that i can tell, but brake dive from 70 is very little,im happy with the set up so far, only thing is now the rear is really lacking, just got to make up my mind wich rear shocks to get..JRI, Sway Away, Ricor,..right now with the way the front handles the Ricor shocks are sounding great.i also installed speed Merchant pre load adjusters.
So my original front end did not have spacers, just a progressive wound spring.i used sch 40 pvc ,3/4 ".i believe i cut the spacers at 6 3/4 ".This is pretty much the same as the other thread ,but if ya dont know,ya dont know.anyway i am pleased at the way the bike handles.now just gotta get some shocks...whats funny is i gave nearly $400 for a dang headlight, but i cant give $650 for shocks,my what a twisted up mind,lol,....
