I just went through this same problem last week. For me the problem turned out to be that the cable groove was rubbing the switch housing. It wasn't very noticeable because it was barely rubbing. We tried graphite and many other things before we figured it out. Finally fixed it by moving the housing out approximately 1/8" while at the same time pushing the throttle on. I held it in position while the housing bolts were tightened and readjusted the cables. After all of that it works just like it did before. Frustrating as hell, I feel your pain. Good luck!
so after work i sanded down the paint and threw some dry graphite on it. Everything is good now. thanks everyone i will post pics soon of the new t bars
